Oprah interviewed a well-respected pastor; She asked him if he had ever questioned God. He said “No.” Even though I still & will always respect this man because he is an Amazing Teacher… dare I say one of the Worlds Best! however I now know that he's not honest. As long as You are an adult who has experienced any heartache/disappointment in some space of time You have questioned God; not necessarily to be disrespectful just to be granted clarity. We're human and we fall short. I have never had a Father but I can only imagine if I did and were curious about anything I’d go to him for answers. Of course Life is hard & being Human at times We feel like its a constant struggle. Scripture reads <<<2 Timothy 3:12 >>>"They that live Godly shall suffer persecution" If You were not a child of God, Destined for Greatness & a threat to the Enemy, Your walk in the Wilderness would be a Stroll in the park. Make note: The Higher a plane flies the Greater chances of experiencing Turbulence. God Never said it would be Easy what He said is It Is Done i.e.,"Possible". Enough Faith will provide You with Grace in the midst of Any Storm. When Your wealth is lost, You lost Nothing, when Your health is lost, You lost Something, when Your Faith is lost, You lost EVERYTHING. It's very easy to offer praise when everything is going the way that We want it to. Our true expressions of Faith; Our Sincerest display of Piety is demonstrated in the midst of Our storms. Those moments when You know for sure that You believe in God however You fearfully wonder if He Believes in You. As human beings, realize that We are stubborn by nature, obdurate by birth; that being said also realize that sometimes Our heart needs to be broken deep enough in order for God to penetrateOur Spirits in such a way that it leaves a Life Lasting Impact. With certain bulls (like myself) a tattoo isn’t strong enough, We need to be branded. I'm not saying every hard time We experience in this life will offer Us an explanation; I'm simply saying studying God I’ve learned that things do not happen by accident but by Appointment. I've heard it said to whom much is given much is required & I’ve Lived to Witness those who endure the Greatest plights also acquire the Greatest Reward. In this walk there are situations when we have to smile like all is well until it actually is. Your outlook on life will shift for the better. Your being will Upgrade. No more sink or swim mentality; You will graduate to I either swim above or below the water for sinking is NOT an option. Regardless as to what Anyone perceives about You... even when You doubt Yourself; keep in mind You're a child of God, Blessed & Highly Favored & for His children He promised an Overly-Abundant Life, far beyond Our Fondest Dreams; therefore Claim It, Breathe It, Live It & Obtain It. For generations masses have been brain washed into thinking the More You struggle the closer You are to God. Almost as if when You're Wealthy You're Wicked & when Your Poor You're Pure. Its time to step from behind the enemy's 'smoke screen of insecurity'. The fact of the matter is, at Your full potential You are a threat to the enemy, too good for mediocrity, opposed to failure & verifiably Destined for Greatness so what better way to hinder Your progress then by convincing You that Hell during life will secure Heaven during the after. Poverty & Piety are not synonymous, be proud of what You're blessed with, diligently pray, work hard towards & freely Anticipate the blessings that are on the way. Family curses are made to be broken; the women in My family are not happy unless they are unhappy. So many are not comfortable unless they are miserable enough to be uncomfortable; at ease only in the midst of chaos. I've decided to begin a New family cycle; New habits & traits passed down from Generation to Generation… Traits of Piety, Positivity, Peace & Prosperity. However knowing that You are a busy Woman, can You imagine how Privileged & Appreciated He will feel when You take the time out to find out what time He's coming home & then not just prepare a meal but make His plate & greet Him with open arms? Even on those occasions when You are upset & have a few "choice words" for Him; let Him get home get settled, debrief from the stresses of the world outside those doors… before He ends up in a heated debate. In all honesty Sisters, Men are not that complexed. They may be the physically stronger however not necessarily emotionally superior; a little stroking goes a long way. When they fall in Love with Us they are actually more in Love with the way that We make them feel, whether they realize it or not. Take time out to Pamper Him & keep Him on a pedestal but never completely abandon Your Life & or extracurricular activities that make You, You. These are the qualities that embody a "Strong Woman in a Relationship". Just keep in mind there's a difference between being a Strong Woman & being a MAN; Men want Wives, not Husbands. When You both have individual identities it allows for the space needed to miss one another. Only food should be smothered, everything else is entitled to & worthy of a nurturing, loving, Life. Understand that the enemy is the master of deception. His job is to divide and conquer in any positive relationship; even that of Christ and his followers. This being said it is certain that the worst places, things & people for Us tend to be the most appealing as well as difficult to separate from. We have to be very careful when We're chasing situations down & abandoning everything else to be in particular company, that We are not sabotaging God's plan of protecting Us from it, therefore He's removing it from Our lives. When You are unequally yoked with any person, place or thing, You are almost certain to become a product of Your environment & or step out of character, conforming to the ways polar-opposite of what You stand for. Remember I always say people are like gravity if they are not Elevating You, then they are weighing You down.
