Some preachers are flamboyant & a master at "catchy phrases" however that doesn't make them knowledgeable about "The Word". A sermon is supposed to Exhort & help Exalt Your walk; prepare You for Your Trials, Tribulations & Victories, grant Clarity & offer Direction, NOT Confusion.
